Perrin Technique Surrey
The Perrin Technique, is currently not available at the clinic.
The Perrin Technique is a system of Diagnosis and Treatment for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/ME.
It was developed in 1989 by Osteopath Dr Raymond Perrin and its effectiveness has been proven with two clinical trials and hundreds of patients over this time.
It utilises a combination of manual therapy techniques, predominantly Manual lymphatic drainage and Cranial Osteopathic techniques, both of which are gentle and do not impose additional stressors on the person.
Perrin technique has also been found to be of benefit to those with fibroymyalgia and there is an early indication that some patients with long Covid may also benefit too.
The Perrin Technique works by reducing the toxins from the neurological and lymphatic systems.
This is done by the use of cranial osteopathic techniques which are very gentle and manual lymphatic draininge techniques.
The training builds upon the 4 year, full time, integrated Osteopathic masters degree.
Our Osteopath undertook training directly from Dr Raymond Perrin himself, which takes 2 days and then you are required to attend continous professional development which includes, reading and attending further training through the year.
The Perrin Technique is primarily used to treat those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / ME and has been found to be beneficial for those with Fibromyalgia.
There is some early research being carried out for the relief of long covid symtoms, which is looking optimistic.
As you would expect of a regulated healthcare professional, our professional indemnity insurance covers us to provide the Perrin Techniquw within an osteopathic appointment.

Patient testimonials
Alan and the team are wonderful. Have been a patient here for 2 years and followed them through both sites. The place is clean, am treated with a smile and care and always come out happy and feeling a few years younger. I would have no reservation recommending Arc Osteopathy for anyone looking for an Osteopath in Croydon.

Alan is a very friendly, professional & knowledgeable osteopath. In my case, my neck was feeling much better after the first (same day) appointment and back to normal after a second appointment a week later. Alan also provided video exercises to improve my condition. I will highly recommend the services of Arc Osteopathy! Thank you, Alan!

Early last year I was having terrible pain in one of my knees and could barely walk. Over a number of months Alan treated me and showed me what exercises to do and what to avoid. I am now signed off from treatment and enjoying doing everything I did before and more. Thanks to Alan.

I met Alan in 2013 when I had bruises my ribs. Thanks to him, I was able to climb to the top of Mount Kinabalu in South East Asia two months later. Since then, I swear by him. I cannot recommend him enough. I drive an hour each way to see him for a 30 min session. He is the best osteopath in London.
