Alan Rowe - Principal Osteopath

With over 20+ years of experience in treating People. Alan uses a structural and classical approach to a patient and selects from a range of techniques that are best suited and tailored to the individual.

He works with a range of patients of all ages and levels of fitness. This may include those in pain with a variety of conditions and injuries, especially people who experience back, neck or joint pain and stiffness or those with sports injuries. He specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, headaches, elderly and, of course, back and neck pain.

Alan was the team physio for Crystal Palace Ladies FC for 5 seasons. He has worked with professional skiers, semi-professional triathletes, as well as a number of musicians.

He has a teaching qualification and has been teaching Sports & Remedial massage at level 5, Anatomy and a variety of workshops for several highly respected London schools over the last 10 years. He was a council member for the Sports & Remedial Therapy Council, which set standards and core curricula for Sports and Remedial therapies in the UK, and was a lead consultant on the new Ofqual recognised Level 4 and Level 5 Sports Massage Qualifications for VTCT and ITEC.

He is a CMP (Certified Medical Professional), also known as a “Rock Doc”  for Rock Tape.

Alan has a passion for skiing and is a qualified BASI level 2 ski instructor. When he gets the chance, he loves travelling, watching films and spending time with his family.

Alan is registered with most of the major insurance companies, including Aviva, BUPA, Simply Health, Axa/PPP, Vitality, WPA, Prudential and Cigna.

Alan is available Monday to Friday, with the exception of Wednesdays.

He is our Croydon Osteopath on Monday & Thursday and Carshalton Beeches on Tuesday and Friday.
